Address: Invermoriston Holiday Chalets, Invermoriston, Glenmoriston, Inverness shire, IV63 7YF
The Invermoriston Holiday Chalets are a perfect choice for a Scottish Highlands holiday location, only 27 miles from Inverness! Peacefully situated at the entrance to Glenmoriston, one of the loveliest glens in the Highlands. Invermoriston is set in 12 acres of partly wooded grounds and has been awarded the Silver Award under the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
Alongside, the River Moriston tumbles under the remains of the picturesque Sian Drochit stone bridge, built by Thomas Telford, and down the falls into Loch Ness, just half a mile away.
There are walks and cycle paths and the Great Glen Way that lead you through craggy forested hills and winding pastureland, granting you magnificent views and opportunities to observe a rich variety of wildlife. Just a short walk, across the bridge from the park, are a licensed restaurant, a hotel, (with restaurant and bars) and a convenient village shop, from which you can order groceries for your arrival.
Inverness airport is 38 miles away. | |
