The ILYSSION hotel was built in 1988 and a new extension was added last winter. This brought the total number of rooms and suites to 85 and the number of beds 220. We are open every year from April to October. The hotel is located between Pefkos and Lardos beach and is 55 km away from the airport, 50 km from Rhodes town, 5 km from the Historic town of Lindos, 3 km from Lardos. The beach, as you can see on the picture above, is only 20 m away! The local buses that criss-cross the entire island, stop right in front of our hotel. You can take a bus to Rhodes Town, Lindos Village, Pefkos etc. All rooms at the Illysion Hotel have a private balcony, bath/shower, music and telephone. Our Suites are all air conditioned, have music, a living room. Most of the rooms have a sea view. The superior rooms are all air conditioned, have music, telephone, satellite TV, have a fridge and all of them have Sea View. All the common areas are air conditioned. The Illysion Hotel has two pools one with soft water and the other with fresh Sea Water. There is also a childrens pool, childrens play ground, tennis court, which can be transformed into Volley ball court according to the players taste, Mini Golf, and a Jacuzzi that can accommodate up to eight persons. There is also a play room with a Ping-Pong table, pool tables, video games, chess etc.. Fun club with childrens games and TV set. For the disabled, Special Room Service is available.

We have been staying in this hotel twice a year for 12 years. It is a family run hotel and they are all fantastic people. You do have to pay extra for the fridge and air conditioning but all the tour operators clearly state this in their brochures.

Hotel illysion looks very nice...and as you enter is impressive.

Hotel is 15 minute walk from Pefkos town, no footpath so watch the traffic.
Air con and sunbeds were free but paid 28 euros for 14 days fridge hire.

The hotel is fairly basic with entertainment one or 2 nights a week and to drink in the bar is fairly expensive. The food is dreadful and there is no atmosphere whatsoever in the restaurant, part of your holiday should be to look forward to meal time...See the full report
