The Hotel Presidente is a great family choice. It offers great quality entertainment and a vast range of sports and activities, from badminton and volleyball to massage and a luxurious open-air spa. Make sure you soak up the scent of the pines that surrounds the hotel and the lovely views of the cove below. The beach is reached by steps from the hotel and combines soft sands with shallow turquoise seas, so it is ideal for swimming, paddling and play-abouts. Adding to the fun are pedalos and the shoals of fish that dart through the waters. The hotel is 28km away from the city of Ibiza and 38 km from the airport. Rooms at the Hotel Presidente have bathroom, WC, shower, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, tea and coffee making machine, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. Facilities at the Hotel Presidente include a swimming pool, childrens pool, sun beds, parasols, boules, golf net, volleyball court, water polo, badminton, open air whirlpool, kids club, playground, toddler time sessions for parents and children, jacuzzi, gym, massages, reception, currency exchange, a public Internet connection with a WLAN access point, TV lounge, a selection of shops and a full family entertainment programme throughout the day and night.

The hotel was really nice with a good sized room overlooking wooded hillsides. Very clean but in general the hotel does need a facelift having some tired fittings.

The Hotel Presidente is a Thomson Superfamily Hotel and is great if you have young children.
Not an awful lot for the older ones though, Portinatx is a really small place.
