The Hotel Platja d'Or is located in the popular resort of Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca, approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the International airport. The hotel is around 1km from the Alcudia resort centre with its selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife, and 50 metres from the wide sandy resort beach. Rooms at the Hotel Platja D'Or have 2 beds, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, air conditioning, fridge or minibar with superior rooms located in separate blocks near the beach, just across the road from the main hotel, and consist of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. Superior rooms also have all have the facilities of standard rooms plus tea & coffee making facilities, bathrobes and flowers, fruit and wine on arrival. Facilities at the Hotel Platja D'Or include a swimming pool, sun terrace, sunbeds, parasols, skittles, french bowls, darts, table tennis and a weekly cabaret with professional variety acts.
