Hotel Parkim Ayaz

Gumbet lies about 33 miles from the airport, and although there are plenty of good hotels and self-catering blocks in the area, a lot of places have the feel of a building site, due to the amount of unfinished properties. The motto must be, choose your accommodation carefully. The beach however is quite good, but the tatty souvenir shops and mini-markets in the dust bowel town, will have you jumping the bus to Bodrum which lies a couple of miles up the coast. Enough bars, clubs and discos to keep you busy at night, and for those who enjoy a gamble, there's even a casino.
