If it’s a room with a view you’re after, then stay at the Hotel Golden Coast and you've certainly come to the right place. Imagine waking up and pulling back your curtains to see windmills slowly turning in breeze. Or stepping out onto your balcony to be greeted by fishing boats bobbing in the sea. Set in the peaceful Pernera district of Protaras, on one side the hotel’s backed by charming rural countryside and on the other it overlooks a little harbour. Serving up tasty buffets, it opens out onto a wooden veranda which overlooks lush terraced gardens and the sea - so if you want to breakfast in the sun or fancy dining al fresco beneath the stars, you can. The à la carte Atrium restaurant is worth pointing out, too. Adorned with friezes and ceiling frescoes that depict ancient Greek myths, it’s perfect for an intimate candle-lit dinner. It’s also used as the venue for Thomson wedding banquets, too. Food aside, the Golden Coast also offers all sorts of daytime activities and evening entertainment – everything from tennis and scuba diving to shows and live music. And what with the playground, kids’ club and children’s menu, the little ones are well-catered for, too. All in all, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a hotel in a relaxing location but that still has plenty of things going on that you can dip in and out of.The Golden Coast gives its guests a choice of restaurants with All Inclusive, Half Board, and Bed & Breakfast all available. |
