Porto Cristo lies on the east coast about 42 miles from the airport and has a natural harbour with the famous Caves of Drach on it's coastline. Aimed mainly at the family market, hotels outnumber the apartments, and the shops in the resort centre will cater for all of your holiday needs, with a lot of warehouses and a market on Mondays too. The main beach is long and sandy, but can get very crowded at the height of the summer season. An evening stroll around the harbour brings you to some decent bars and the odd disco.
