An enviable location, in the pedestrianised centre of Nerja, situated in the old quarter the historic Balcón de Europa stands above the La Caletilla beach taking in the spectacular panoramic views along the coast of Nerja. In close proximity to the charming streets of the old town, those of the commercial area, and all the attractions that this delightful town has to offer. We are where you would like to be! A peaceful and exclusive atmosphere pervades the property; the public areas are spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff and the owner of the property create a warm and friendly welcome. Due to its location built into the rock face of the Balcón de Europa, the Hotels main entrance is via the 6th floor, thus allowing direct access from the hotel bedrooms to the beach and the surrounding area. The hotel has recently been refurbished and facilities improved. On the historic Balcon de Europa overlooking the caletilla beach, it has a beautiful maritime panoramic view in a quiet area and only 50m away from the city centre with typical andalusian streets Just outside the hotel there is a horse and carriage stand so take advantage and go for a romantic ride around this lovely old town.

Very disappointing. Nerja is sold as a quiet fishing village while we found it to be the opposite - packed with people and not a fisherman in sight. Fishing wasn"t even an option as an activity. The hotel was overpriced especially when they charge ex...See the full report
