Gran Castillo

Playa Blanca is at the southern end of the island 23 miles from the airport. A less developed resort, it is built around a fishing village and apart from a few high class hotels, the accommodation is mainly self catering apartments. A small sandy beach with some water sports on offer, and the shopping at the gift shops and supermarkets, are about all there is to do during the daytime, and there isn't much more at night. 2 music bars and a few of the local type ones around the harbour, and that's it. If it's a quiet family holiday you want ,then this is the place to be.
