The site was in a lovely peaceful secluded place, and very quiet. Just what we were hoping for. There was a shop and a pub a few minutes walk away if we needed anything or wanted a quick drink. Perfect!!See the full report

Tucked away amidst 7 acres of beautiful grounds, Field Lane sits just outside the lovely traditional coastal village of St Helen's, a stone's throw from Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin.
Coastal footpaths, cycling trails, beaches and wildlife abound in this rural idyll and you also enjoy use of the facilities at adjoining Hillgrove Park including an outdoor heated pool. Tranquil Bembridge, with pubs, superb restaurants and shops, is nearby.
A long, sheltered sandy beach and harbour, is just 15 minutes' walk.
Field Lane offers a haven to those seeking a taste of restful village life. During the summer months the village green hosts leisurely cricket matches - perfect for a relaxing afternoon's entertainment. Or you might prefer a leisurely stroll picking damsons, almonds and apples before enjoying some of the wonderful local produce and delicious seafood on offer at the wealth of tempting eateries nearby.
