Anissaras is approximately 20 km and a forty minute drive from Heraklion airport. Anissaras has a beautiful golden sandy beach and is only 2 km from Hersonissos with it's lively nightlife. The resort is ideal for anyone who wants a quieter location but within easy reach of tavernas and nightlife.

We had booked 2 twin rooms and given 1 room with 4 beds no aircon, had to open window and door at night for some air and got bitten to death by mossies the Elma is on the flight path of the airport so got no sleep the Elma is in the middle of nowhere...See the full report
