The Doreta Beach Hotel sits on the beach on the west coast of Rhodes near the pretty village of Tholos, about 17km from Rhodes town. The hotel has a great atmosphere, not only providing an excellent environment for families, but equally suitable for all guests. The spacious lawns leading down to the tree-lined beach is a fun place for children to play carelessly and safely. The 390 rooms all have Direct Dial telephone, Hairdryer, Central Air-conditioned, Bathroom and a Balcony. Facilities at the Doreta Beach Hotel include a spacious modern lounge, satellite TV room, 3 elevators, recreation room, large unusually designed pool, children's pool, table tennis, billiards, tennis courts, basketball court, volley ball, mini golf, sea sports such as canoes and pedal - boats. Banana ring and wind surfing is charged locally.
At the Doreta Beach you'll also find a mini market, jewellery shop, hairdresser, safety boxes, currency exchange, laundry service, 2 children's playrooms, one of which is inside and the other is a semi open air room both having many children's toys and games. There is also a large children's play ground within the Doreta Beach grounds.

This place is very poor not 5 star, would say its only 3 star.
Lots of guests not happy, some staff was very rude, not helpfull at all.
There is no spar to this resort as it says on its web page.

This site shows that it is a 3 Star, it is in fact a Greek 4 Star and more to the point, from next year it will be a Greek 5 Star as they are refurbishing the whole Hotel and from the work already undertaken, it"ll be worth another visit!
