The hotel is located in the quiet tourist area of Playamar, just 150 m. away from the promenade and the magnificent beach of fine sand. The shopping area and Torremolinos downtown are only a few minutes stroll which allows you take have a break during your stroll and take a coffee or drink in one of the many beachside cafes and bars and watch the Spanish lifestyle pass before you very eyes. Malaga international airport is about 6 km away. You can find popular entertainment areas such as fairgrounds and Golf courses not far from the hotel. This hotel, with its attractive decor offers standard double and standard double with separate lounge area, all of them comfortable furnished and equipped with two beds and have all been refurbished during winter 2006/7, individual heating and air conditioning. | |

Stayed at the Hotel Luca Costa Lago for a week in September 2010.
We found the hotel and rooms to be very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I spent 9 days at this hotel as we were stuck in Spain due to the volcano. After the 9th day we moved to the RIU Belplaya which is next to the Lago. The rooms are small but adequate and clean.

Not for the british holidaymakers, food totaly shocking, pork, fish every day
pasta every day but no sauce, plenty of german food and spanish entertainment terrible have parrot shows for 10 mins then take pictures that cost 10 euros

this is not a 4* property
we went durning school half term and no activities were on at all day or night.
hotel run entertainment- spanish disco or music quiz! 1 day and night off

Excellent standard of accomodation & food.
Entertainment & childrens facilities were very average , but we did go in low season (May.
That said i would return again & thoroughly enjoyed it. (Nuneaton)
