The 3 star Hotel Confortel Sol Parc is situated amidst a small pine forest overlooking the Son Saura beach in the resort of Son Parc on the rugged north coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 25km north west of the capital Mahon and the international Aeropuerto de Menorca, and 500 metres from the Son Parc resort centre where you will find a small selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Built in 1978 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Hotel Confortel Sol Parc has a total of 272 guest rooms, all of which come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a lounge with additional sofa beds, a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and two electric rings, ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have pool and garden views. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, a games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant, supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate childrens section, and sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols, as well as a tennis court and mini golf. In addition to the above, the Confortel Sol Parc complex is a short walk from the only golf course on Menorca the 18 hole Golf Son Parc. The Hotel Confortel Sol Parc also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring rifle shooting, archery and aerobics as well as a childrens mini club and evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
