Playa blanca was ideal for us enough bars, restaurant, a few clubs for the teenagers, which we did not use, the locals were really friendly, as were the staff in the apartments nothing to much trouble.

The whitewashed Cay Beach Sun Apartments is a friendly low-rise village style property just perfect for a laid back holiday. In the gardens you’ll find the pools at the heart of the action, here you can stretch out and relax in the sun, maybe even take a dip in the whirlpool or if you prefer join in with the organised activities. There are distractions for the kids too in the form of a playground, their own pool and even a hotel-run children's club, and there is a wide choice of restaurants and bars in the nearby resort centre. Lanzarote Airport is approximately 35 km from the hotel. Rooms at the Cay Beach Sun have twin beds, living area with sofa bed, kitchenette, 2 cooking rings, cooking utensils, fridge, coffee maker and microwave, bathroom with bath or shower, hairdryer, satellite TV and a balcony or terrace. Facilities at the Cay Beach Sun include two swimming pools, one heated in winter, childrens pool, sun beds, parasols, tennis court, jacuzzi, mini market, laundrette, luggage room and a full day and evening entertainment programme.
