San Antonio lies about 15 miles from the airport and is the tourist capital of the island. If it's partying all day and night you are after, then this is the place to go. Bars, discos and clubs are all available and some go on for 24 hours a day, and the odd times that you do make it back to the room, you will find that the accommodation is excellent, but do try and stay clear of the ones in the town centre. The beaches are quite good but do tend to get very crowded in the peak season. There are enough water sports of every variety available to keep you going throughout the day, and an abundance of shops selling everything from jewellery to footwear, and supermarkets to cater for all your other holiday needs.
