Casa Kalouda

We choose Monte Pego because it is removed from overrun costal areas and yet it is only a 15 minute drive to the beach. The beach is 15 miles long and the part we like is near Oliva Nova Golf Course. Here it is quiet with plenty of space. The villa was built for us and we took possession in Spring 2003. The more we have used it the more we like the peace and quiet and the area in general. The views are incredible and in particular the evening sunset. Below in the valley are the orange groves and paddy fields - yes, rice! In the distance, on one side you have the mountains, and on the other you are looking out over the sea. To sit out on the terrace in the evening with the sun setting over the mountains and a glass of wine nearby is so perfect!
