A good place for Christian singles under 40 to meet others, but it"s an "all expenses spared" week. The dining room is overcrowded and noisy, and the accommodation is poor, with mostly dormitory accommodation. There wasn"t even a bathroom on the same...See the full report

Capernwray Hall is a 19th-century mansion set in 175 acres of parkland, just south of Englands famous Lake District, and west of the rugged crags of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Capernwray Hall was built in the mid-1800s as a private home for the Lord Lieutenant of the county of Lancaster. The Scottish border is 70 miles (110 km) to the north; to the east lie the Yorkshire Dales with their beautiful waterfalls and rugged crags. To the south is the ancient City of Lancaster. Manchester with its international airport is just over an hour away. Capernwray was purchased in 1946 for use as a Christian holiday and conference centre. | |
