Cala D Or Apartments have splendid views of the resort and, having been recently refurbished, is a lively and cheerful holiday spot. The complex enjoys a great location in the heart of Puerto Rico, a popular friendly resort on the lovely island of Gran Canaria, only 400m away from the resort centre brimming with good shopping, streetside cafes, lively bars, restaurants and nightlife. Guests can stroll down to the fabulous beach only a short stroll away (800m) either down the steps or along the road.
Rooms at the Cala D Or Apartments have a bathroom, WC, shower, a kitchenette with ceramic hotplate, microwave, kettle and toaster, pay-per-view TV, maid service 5 times a week‚ towel change 3 times a week, linen change once weekly, twin bedrooms and two sofa beds in the lounge area and a balcony or terrace.
Facilities at the Cala D Or Apartments include a swimming pool, sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols, waterpolo, water volleyball, table tennis, pool table, darts, supermarket, reception, currency exchange, safety deposit boxes and organised games and entertainment with professional shows twice a week.

Two good weeks as far as the weather goes very hot up to 40degs. Steps dont bother us to much even though i will be 70 in April, over all a good holiday.
BUT for £1300 i find it really expensive with no air con. when you can go in the Marina Suites ...See the full report

Highly recommend the Cala D"or. Staff really friendly and helpfull.
Hotel clean with good entertainment program.
Bit of a steep walk down to the town but dont take too long but would suggest taxi back up which cost between 2- 3 euros and always...See the full report

This is one place i will not be going to again...before i went everyone was raving about Dave The Rave? the entertainer at the hotel - but he had left. The pool was to small for the amount of people - as more come from the other hotels during the day...See the full report
