Carrying 1350 passengers the Balmoral Cruise Ship is certainly the grandest ship of our fleet, yet still compact enough to offer our trademark intimate, homely atmosphere. Although slightly larger than our existing ships, Balmoral is still compact enough to offer that intimate, homely atmosphere which is so much our trademark. The combination of Balmoral's elegant comfortable cabins, world-class cuisine and diverse on board activities has been designed to appeal particularly to the rapidly expanding British cruise market. The Lido Lounge and Bar is the perfect place to relax after a hard day sightseeing or lounging in the sun! The Lido Bar looks out over the aft pool and the stern of the ship and is the ideal spot to dance the night away with the on board pianist or musical duo. Our bar staff are always on hand to serve a whole array of exotic cocktails, beers, spirits or something refreshing and non-alcoholic. The stylish Ballindalloch restaurant is the main restaurant on Balmoral, where the fantastic dishes on offer will tempt your taste buds. Whether it's a formal night or one of our special theme nights you will be assured of a wonderful atmosphere as you enjoy your meal. For a lunchtime snack on the Balmoral Cruise Ship, or if you don't feel like dressing for one of our formal nights, the Palms Cafe offers a delicious buffet. This restaurant is self-service, but the standard is as good as in the main restaurants. This is a little less formal if you wish to just pop along whenever you feel hungry, rather than waiting for the set dining times. | |
