I have just got back from Balkaya i stayed there by myself for 2 weeks. Recently i went there for 8 weeks for july/august 2009 but i loved it so much i needed to return.

Do not use this hotel, it certainly leaves a lot to be desired. I fully agree with the reviews from other guests about the poor food, rude staff, filthy rooms, dirty towels and the constant music blaring out around the pool all day and night.

Although Turkey, Olu Deniz and Hisaronu was great and we loved being there.
We was absolutely appalled with the Balkaya Hotel. There was no variety of food for the whole of the 2 weeks we were there.

I love Turkey and have been several times and stayed in various hotels etc. The Balkaya Hotel is quite basic and you have to remember it"s a 2star so don"t go expecting the ritz.
