| Gambia is Africa's smallest nation, although it has a population of over 1 million people. Gambia, situated in West Africa, has some beautiful uncrowded sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast just south of the capital Banjul. Fishing and bird watching are also very popular as Gambia enjoys a subtropical climate, with virtually no rain between November and May. There is a very rainy season between June and October, however it is very warm all year round. | |

The Gambia is great, I must admit,but the Badala Park is a rubbish hotel.
I"ve been to the smiling coast many times and have allways enjoyed it, as I did this time, but no thanks to the hotel.

STAYING AT THE BADALA PARK HOTEL MADE THE HOLIDAY FAB STAFF WILL BRILLIANT, THIS WAS NOT MY FIRST TIME AT THE HOTEL AND INTEND TO RETURN THERE VERY SOON.

I only booked a week at Badala Park as it was only me and my 11 year old son going and we had never been there before. I was a bit dubious after booking it because I read some bad reports on another sight.
