Roda was once a fishing village and lies about 20 miles from the airport. Most of the accommodation tends to be made up of small apartment blocks and inexpensive hotels. The beach is quite poor but does offer some water sports, while the local supermarkets cater for only the basic requirements. Very much a family based resort, that offers some good bars and tavernas to sample during a night time walk.
