Angela's

Lourdas is on the southern coast and lies about 8 miles from the airport. A quiet and relatively unspoilt village, it has a couple of good hotels, and a small amount of self catering apartments, with mini markets and souvenir shops near by. A 3 mile long stretch of sand and pebble beach is the hub the day time activities, while at night, there are only a few local tavernas in the village centre for you to enjoy.

This was our 5th time back to Kefalonia but our 1st time in Lourdas. It was bliss, we had a heat wave, fire"s and even a smal tremble!!!!! But even with children around it was just what the doctor ordered. So good we are booked again for 2008 ...See the full report
