 The Amaryllis Beach Resort lies on the beachfront on the south coast of Barbados. It is close to restaurants, sports bars, clubs and duty-free shopping and 15 minutes drive away from the championship Barbados Golf Club, where guests are offered 15% discount and preferred tee-off times. The Barbados airport lies 15 minutes drive away and the capital Bridgetown only 10 minutes drive away. The hotel offers its own Mall, the Chattel Plaza, complete with restaurant, bistrot, beauty spa, hair salon, games arcade and virtual golf café. Please note that trousers and shoes are required for dinner at the Almond Tree Restaurant and the 39 Steps Wine Bar and Restaurant and that smoking is only permitted in the bars, on the beach and the gardens.-The hotel offers a free wedding ceremony for all double suite bookings or bookings of six rooms or more, staying more than 7 nights for 2007 and 2008.-Travellers to Barbados are charged 1 USD per person per night by the Barbados Tourism Board, which is payable at the hotel.-Check-in is at 16.00 hrs. | |
