Altamar offers its guests 257 One bed Apartments (smoker and non smokers) with big terrace and great sea view and are situated around 500 metres from the sea front promenade and Playa de Troya beach, in the lively resort of Playa de las Americas on the south coast of Tenerife. The apartments are approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Rooms at the Altamar Apartments have en suite bathroom with shower, open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven and washing machine, combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area
Facilities at the Altamar Apartments include a Swimming pool, Terrace solarium, Money exchange, Sun Loungers, Parasols and a reception.

After reading really bad reports here from 5 years ago we were apprehensive about going but those reports should be taken off the web site as the complex is now all privately owned houses and we only know of one person who rents out there.

Altamar apartments are a wonderful place to stay for families, couples and groups. The complex is all private apartments now and there are not any tour people there.
