Tingaki lies about 10 miles from the airport that has seen a lot of expansion in recent years. There's a large selection of small hotel and apartment blocks to be found here, but the shopping is quite poor and a trip into to Kos is recommended. The long and sandy beach is one of the best on the island, offering a host of water sports, but the night time can be too quiet for some, as the entertainment is limited.

The Akti hotel was situated in a perfect location, a 30 second walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main street. Staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful very friendly which made our stay even more plesurable. We shall definately...See the full report
