Adonia, the newest edition to the P&O fleet is small and intimate giving you the chance to avoid all the inconveniences which generic cruising provides. She will join the fleet in May 2011 and accommodate just 710 passengers allowing her to give a more personal service and also visit the “hidden” destinations the larger ships can not get to. Built in 2001, she is designed with a truly nautical influence, and will host a vast array of entertainment as well as having an extensive library and traditional club style lounge bar. Adonia, the smallest ship of the P&O fleet, has 355 cabins of which, a third boast a balcony, providing you with the space to reach ultimate bliss. Also known as the “boutique” of P&O’s fleet, she will journey to the remote destinations, often inaccessible to the larger ships. Along with Arcadia, Adonia will be an adult-only ship and will provide a traditional cruising experience yet still have all the modern comforts you would expect from P&O. The perfect way to explore the spectacular destinations off the beaten track She will offer a truly intimate and traditional cruise experience, yet with all the comforts you would expect from a modern vessel. With this size of ship our passengers will be able to get to know their fellow cruisers and crew easily as they travel to some of the most intriguing destinations on the map. Whilst larger ships have their own appeal, with the spectrum of bars, dining and entertainment choices they can offer, others really enjoy a smaller ship, with its more intimate ambience. No other cruise line offers this breadth of choice specifically for the British cruiser. | |
