A Quinta House Loule (Watch a video)

Set completely on its own in the heart of the gentle countryside, but only about 3km from the market town of Loule, A Quinta is ideally situated for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing holiday in wonderfully rural surroundings, safe in the knowledge that civilisation is never far away. A Quintas fortunate owners bought and completely restored the house with great care and attention to detail, scouring local markets for the antiques and bric-a-brac which give this property its homely feel. The large living room is a real masterpiece, for part of this room was converted from an old stable and still has the original feeding troughs as one of its main features, while comfortable seating make it a pleasant place to linger during cooler evenings. Tucked away off the sitting room is the master bedroom, which in years gone by was the old cowshed and retains interesting architectural features. Terraces run along the sides and front of the house, so there is plenty of room for even the largest of parties to relax and enjoy a quiet corner. A built-in barbecue plus an attractive freeform swimming pool with Roman steps complete A Quintas array of facilities, making this an appealing base for those in search of simple relaxation in comfortable surroundings and with the gated access to the pool area, this villa is a good choice for families with young children.
