Afternoon tea 16.30 - 18.00 Pool bar . The Hotel has several bars and restaurants offering a variety of excellent cuisine and dining options, including Italian, fresh seafood, international buffet and 24 hour room service.

We had an execellent holiday even though the food was a bit boring, however Hassan the rest manager would always try to get you an alternative choice. Service throughout the complex was first class nothing was too much trouble to the staff especially in the main bar although this did get rather crowded and smokey when the East Europeans came in.

When we arrived at the Conrad we were pleasntly suprised with our first glimpse of the hotel. We were checked in relatively quickly and shown to our room. We were very satisfied with our room, very clean and laid our conveniantly. We had a balcony and a view overlooking one of the pools. The bathroom again vey clean with bath and 2 showers and a toilet. Towels and bed linen perfectly white and fresh. However my only complaint was the mattresses, they were the hardest I`d ever laid on. They were like lying on concrete slabs. You wouldn`t want to run and jump on the bed for fear of Knoccking yourself out on the mattress. After 2 sleepless nights we did speak to our First Choice rep. whom promptly arranged for the mattress to be swaped for another one. It wasn`t much better but we managed to sllep a little better. The hotel grounds were very clean and tidy. The gardens were kept neat and tidy too. The 3 restaurants were adequate, 2 of which were buffet style and the 3rd was waiter service for your main course. The buffets were pretty much what you expect very repetetive but edible and reasonably tasty but not always very hot. We ate in the 3rd restaurant only once at the end of our holiday which was a shame because it wasof a better standard all though not a huge menu. We never had any tummy upsets or unwanted frequent trips to the toilets, so we were quite happy with the food all in all. As well as 2 bars in the hotell lobby there is pool bars and beach bars. All the staff friendly and happy to help. The entertainment during the day around the pool and evening in the bar is again pretty much what you`d expect. There are a few shops in the hotel aswell as a beauty salon. We reallyenjoyed our stay at the Conrad in Sharm El Sheikh and would recommend it to anyone. We only went for one week and during that time we did 4 excursions including a 2 day 1 night trip to Cairo to see the pyramids of Giza and many other amazing sites etc. We also did a Nile cruise for dinner that i highly recommend. THe food was good and the boat was really beautiful, entertainment was reasonable too. However Cairo is a real eye opener. Dirty, rotten and filthy but worth the experience. Totally differant to the breathtaking views of Sharm El Sheikh. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and have some fantastic photos to prve it but we wont be going back. Simply because once you`ve seen the sites etc thers not much else to do. Were not the type to spend a week laying on sunbeds for lng hot days on end, although we do enjoy a couple of days lazying the time away, after all we work hard all year round. The beach is beautifull, safe and clean to swim and sunbathe on. The water is crystal clear and you don`t need to snorkel to see many of the beautifull marine life. We just sat upon the jetty and clear as daylight we see many swimming close to the surface. To end just to say fantastic hotel, staff, surroundings and an all round wonderful holiday.

I was impressed most by the private beach and the excellent diving or snorkelling that was available. If you took your own equipment it was all free as was amazing. I found the hotel staff to be helpful and pleasant. The food was good with alot of choice each evening and the rooms large and clean. If I was to give my advice to the hotel as to how it could improve it would be to improve your evening entertainment as it was non existant - there was nothing for chilren - and the selection of cocktails in the all inclusive was watery. Hence you drink beer - which was always cold.
I did notice alot of tummy bugs and had this myself for 5 days of the holiday but I had been told to expect this from Egypt and so had my tablets ready.
No there was nothing nearby the hotel but we went into the town by taxi (abit scary!!) and found lots of bargins and restaurants/pubs which was great.
There was building work going on in April which we were not told about but luckily it did not affect our room or holiday as it was at the front of the hotel. First Choice you need to help the hotel improve on the above - they have a nice hotel and good staff - its up to you to pass on the messages and help them make the hotel into what could be a great hotel. Please do not be taken in by the pictures of this hotel they are about ten years out of date. The place is filthy. Full of building works. Nothing to do. Surly staff. Worse First Choice Rep ever. Reheated food with no choice. You will be ill for the full two weeks. One local supermarket very expensive tried to get food we could eat Pringles £3.20 for one tube. Drinks taste like bleach all spirits taste the same. This is the worse Holiday in 30 years we have ever had. Tried to get answers from First Choice they will not help you. Please Please be warned dont use your hard earned money on this hotel.

Contrary to another report which I saw on this site we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The staff & locals were friendly, the food was good for this class of hotel (I imagine that there were not enough fish fingers and sausages for some folk, though the local 'mini burgers' were very tasty)
The hotel is in a quiet location, there was transport for those wanting the bars at naama bay.
The sea and aquatic life were second to none (the caribbean is definitely second best).
Do not go if you want a rowdy atmosphere. (Wigan).

Lovely clean hotel, fantastic beach, AMAZING snorkelling. The night life was really poor but we found this brought the 'Brits' together and we made our own entertainment. Although the spirits weren't fantastic they were in plenty supply. The staff did everything they could to help. The guys in the restaurant ( where the food was very good) were especially attentive. My son had his 6th Birthday and he got 2 cakes!! You could order fresh pizza, pasta and chips for the kids and have it in the main restaurant.
The best trip is to Ras Mohammed on the boat.
Naama bay has a great atmosphere, there's a fun park and plenty of shopping; try to stick to the supermarkets and the shops with price tags. A firm but friendly 'no thankyou' usually does; but like everywhere they do try to rip you off given the chance!!!!
